After ultrasonic welding, crushing, welding, burns, crushing, and abrasion are the most common problems. Sometimes they are not so serious, but they are whitish or have marks. When encountering such problems, the first thing is to ensure that the position of the tooling is not offset. You can first release the air in the cylinder, press down the welding head, and carefully observe whether the position of the welding head at the scratches is correct.

If the position of the welding head is correct, or scratches or crushes occur on the bracket (or lower cover), then observe whether there is interference between the tooling and the product. If it is an old tooling, it is recommended to clean the tooling with alcohol at this time. If it is a new tooling, use sandpaper to gently wipe the scratched area (especially the root of the step) to prevent burrs. In addition, observe whether the air pressure of the cylinder is too high during welding, whether the film of the pad has not been changed for a long time during welding, or whether there is foreign matter on the film.

If the crush still exists after the above work, it can be basically judged as tooling interference. At this time, the mold should be repaired according to the specific conditions such as the size and location of the crush:
 (1) The crush is slight. Use a file to blunt the sharp angle of the tooling at the corresponding part of the tooling, and then polish it with sandpaper;
 (2) The crush is serious, but there is no welding rib at the corresponding place. Use an air grind to grind away the interference of the tooling (be careful not to touch other places, especially the root of the air grind. The other parts are also ground off), after grinding, use oilstone to smooth and polish with sandpaper;
(3) The crush is serious, there are welding ribs in the corresponding place or the crush is very serious, and the interference part is very large. Please consult with the designer, modify the drawing and submit it to the processing center, and contact the relevant personnel to confirm whether the injection mold is opened There is a problem, or whether to improve the product structure.
(4) There are bright spots on the surface of the product after welding, and there is no scratch when touched by hand, but a bright spot will appear when facing the light, which is similar to a bright spot of oil stains. This situation is generally caused by the plastic film that is lined. It is necessary to replace the plastic film of different materials and thicknesses for testing.
