Precautions for use and structure parts of ultrasonic homogenizer

Ultrasonic homogenizer is a kind of liquid that is evenly dispersed in another immiscible liquid with very small droplets. Emulsion is a liquid-liquid interface phenomenon. Two immiscible liquids, such as oil and water, are divided into two layers in the container. The oil with low density is in the upper layer and the water with high density is in the lower layer. If a proper surfactant is added and the oil is dispersed in water under strong stirring to form an emulsion, this process is called emulsification.


The structure of ultrasonic homogenizer is as follows:

1. Transducer: convert high-frequency electrical energy into mechanical vibration energy.

2. Ultrasonic generator: convert 50-60Hz mains power into high-power high-frequency (15khz-100khz) power supply and provide it to the transducer.

3. Horn: connect and fix the transducer and the tool head, amplify the amplitude of the transducer and transmit it to the tool head.

4. Connecting bolt: tightly connect the above components.

5. Tool head: it transmits mechanical energy and pressure to the working object, and also has the function of amplitude amplification.

6. Ultrasonic connecting line: connect the energy converter with the generating source, transmit electric energy and drive the latter to send power ultrasonic energy.


Precautions for use of ultrasonic homogenizer:

1. Before startup, comprehensively check whether the joints of all fasteners and pipes are firm and reliable. 2. Fill the power box with clean mechanical oil to the oil level line. In general, hj40 mechanical oil shall be used, and mechanical oil shall be used for working in high temperature places.

3. Connect the cooling water of the plunger to form a thin line.

4. Check the oil regularly, change the oil after the new machine works for 100 hours, and then change it every 1000 hours.

5. Check the rotation of the pulley, and it is strictly prohibited to rotate in the opposite direction during operation.

6. Do not start under pressure.

7. After startup, if the pressure gauge jumps violently or the pressure does not go up, set the pressure gauge to zero, then loosen the screw of the air release device until there is no bubble overflow, and then tighten the screw.

8. After the pressure is adjusted to the required sudden change, the pressure shall be gradually adjusted to avoid the impact. 9. During load operation, the working pressure shall not exceed the rated pressure.

9. Before stopping, loosen the pressure regulating handle of the homogenizer to remove the pressure, and then close the valve on the feed pipe after the machine stops.
