The cavitation effect of ultrasonic wave makes it possible to degrade harmful organic matter in water, so as to realize the purpose of ultrasonic sewage treatment.

The technology of ultrasonic degradation of organic pollutants in sewage can be used alone or combined with other treatment technologies to degrade and remove organic pollutants by using ultrasonic cavitation effect. There are the following types of combined technologies:

1. Ultrasonic and ozone are combined for sewage treatment. Ultrasonic degradation, sterilization and ozone disinfection work together on sewage.

2. Ultrasonic and hydrogen peroxide are combined for sewage treatment to achieve the purpose of degradation, sterilization and disinfection of polluted water.

3. The combination of ultrasonic and ultraviolet light is used for sewage treatment to form photoacoustic chemistry technology. The degradation capabilities of ultrasonic technology and ultraviolet technology are combined, synergistic and complementary to treat the common organic pollutants phenol, carbon tetrahydride and trihydrogen in sewage

Methane and trichloroacetic acid are degraded so that the degradation products of the four substances are water, carbon dioxide, C1 - or short chain fatty acids that are easy to biodegrade.

4. Ultrasonic and magnetization treatment technology are combined for sewage treatment. Magnetization can not only realize solid-liquid separation of sewage, but also degrade cod, BOD and other organic substances, but also decolorize dyeing water.

5. Ultrasonic can also be used as an auxiliary technology of traditional chemical sterilization treatment. When using traditional chemical methods for large-scale sewage treatment, increasing ultrasonic radiation can greatly reduce the dosage of chemical agents.
