What is the difference between 15K ultrasonic welding machine and 20K ultrasonic welding machine?
Time:02/23/2023    Views:1
The most common frequencies of ultrasonic welding machines are 15khz and 20khz ultrasonic plastic welding machines. The higher the ultrasonic frequency, the better the welding accuracy, but the smaller the relative power, the smaller the amplitude. The following is the difference between ultrasonic plastic welding machine 15khz and 20khz:

Low ultrasonic frequency will produce noise. When the frequency is lower than 20 khz, the noise will become large during welding. For plastic products with higher welding accuracy, the higher the frequency, the better. Therefore, 20khz or higher frequency welding machines are suitable for precision, ultra-thin and very fragile plastic parts, such as SD cards, or products with crystal oscillators inside the products; The 15khz power is easier to expand, and the amplitude is also relatively large, which is suitable for welding large, difficult to weld, and relatively rough plastic products;

From the perspective of appearance, 15 khz and 20 khz transducers can be distinguished. The transducer of 15 khz ultrasonic machine is generally inverted cone, and the specification of screw hole is M16X1.0 teeth, while the transducer of 20 khz welding machine is generally cylindrical, and the diameter is also small, and the specification of screw hole is 3/8 inch 24 teeth.

Secondly, the dimensions of the 15 khz and 20 khz ultrasonic molds are also inconsistent. The height of 15khz ultrasonic mold is generally about 17cm, while that of 20khz ultrasonic mold is about 12.5cm.

Thirdly, the 15khz plastic welding machine can weld large workpieces, and the power can be divided into 2600w/3200w/4200w. The 20khz plastic welding machine is 900W-2000w, with small power and small size of weldable products.

15 khz and 20 khz have no distinction between good and bad quality, but the applicable product occasions are different. The specific frequency of the machine to be used should not be mechanically copied, but should be comprehensively considered.
