How to Maintain an Ultrasonic Plastic Welding Machine?
Time:05/07/2026    Views:1
1.  Clean the Machine Body: Use a dry air gun or a soft cloth to remove oil stains and dust from the machine body, the generator's heat dissipation vents, and the work surface; this prevents interference with heat dissipation or contaminants from entering the pneumatic system.

2.  Check the Air Supply:Verify that the air pressure remains stable within the set range. Promptly drain any accumulated water from the air triple unit (filter, pressure regulator, and lubricator)—moisture and impurities are the primary causes of pneumatic component aging.

3.  Clean Contact Surfaces:When installing or replacing the welding horn, ensure that the contact surface between the horn and the booster is clean and free of dust; even minute impurities can lead to abnormal vibrations or energy loss.

4.  Use a Torque Wrench:Always tighten fasteners to the torque specifications recommended by the manufacturer; if too loose, unstable vibrations may occur; if too tight, thread damage or component cracking may result.

5.  Listen for Abnormal Noises:Pay close attention to the sounds produced during startup and idle operation; normal operation should produce a smooth, steady sound. If abnormal noises—such as a piercing screech or a dull thud—are detected, shut down the machine immediately.

6.  Prompt Troubleshooting: Abnormal noises typically indicate a loose welding horn, cracked components, or internal damage; continued operation under these conditions may lead to more severe malfunctions.

7.  Monitor Power Fluctuations:Under identical operating parameters, if the idle power consumption rises abnormally (e.g., exceeding the rated value by more than 15%), it may signal a worn-out welding horn, loose components, or an electrical circuit issue.

8.  Regular Professional Calibration:It is recommended that a qualified technician use an energy tester to calibrate the output amplitude every 6 to 12 months to ensure process consistency.

9.  Lubricate Cylinder Guide Rods:It is recommended to apply clean, dust-free grease to the cylinder guide rods on a monthly basis to minimize wear and ensure smooth downward movement.

10. Welding Horn (HORN):Depending on usage intensity, the welding horn typically requires replacement every 6 to 12 months. If the working surface shows signs of wear, cracks, or if welding stability becomes erratic, the horn should be replaced immediately.

11. Protective Film:This film serves to prevent pressure marks on the workpiece; if it becomes damaged or loses its elasticity, it must be replaced promptly.

12. Use Original Accessories: It is strongly recommended to use original JiaoCheng accessories. The mismatch in materials, precision, and frequency associated with non-original parts may damage the equipment's core systems.
